Welcome To The Coppull Uncovered Website!

The reason I produced this site is show the world what Coppull is really like. Having searched around the web, Coppull is not well represented. So I have decided to show the globe Coppull, warts and all. The site may upset one or two people, but having lived in the village for eighteen years, and having relatives that have lived in Coppull all their lives, I think I have a good grounding in Coppull.

Friday 18th April 2008

Well we have been away for quite sometime as you can see from the last postings below.

Now we are back, and we are going to have videos, photos and all sorts of stuff on the site.

So keep checking back because over the coming weeks there will be some major changes to the site.

14th July 2005.

Well it's taken more than a week for it to be cleared up, but the council have finally emptied the overflowing bins and refuse from the area shown below. Probably due to the phone calls they recieved and e-mails, that went unanswered, mine did anyway. I will continue to monitor the area and report here as soon as i see any problems arise.

I remind the council of their duties with the following link.......

7th July 2005.

Why do I get the feeling that Chorley Council just don't seem willing or able to deliver a quality refuse service.

Would you put up with this kind of service if it was your business, I think not...

A Brief Intro:-
The village of Coppull is located in the North West Of England, sandwiched between Preston to the North, approx 10 miles, and Wigan to the South, approx 8 miles, in the county of Lancashire. The main A49 road cuts through the western edge of the village, and is just skirted by the M6 motorway a little further to the west.
